Marketing & Communications Internship
The Marketing & Communications internship is available to the individual who has an interest in healthcare marketing, communications, and public relations in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, and have academic experience in communication, marketing and/or public relations. The Marketing & Communications intern will join our Marketing and Business Development department and be responsible for assisting the organization in the development and implementation of its marketing, business development, and public relations plans.
The Marketing & Communications intern may assist with several or all of the following:
- Assist with marketing strategy and planning for company and its affiliates.
- Content writing for marketing/sales collaterals (brochures, flyers, digital media, advertisements)
- Social media – content writing, planning, research, monitoring and responses
- Website CMS for corporate site and 40 affiliates
- Marketing planning and research
- Assist in the creation of promotional campaigns and related materials
- Public relations content creation and other media-related tasks
Skills/Qualifications:
- Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations Major
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Strong organization skills, ability to multi-task and attention to detail
- Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Self-starter; ability to work independently
- Social media knowledge
- Strong interpersonal and/or telephone skills
- Positive attitude
Other Information:
- 5 -10 hours per week; flexible times/hours
