ConnPIRG is a consumer group that stands up to powerful interests whenever they threaten our health and safety, our financial security, or our right to fully participate in our democratic society. We recently won a big victory for public health when Subway and McDonald’s announced they would sell meat raised without the use of antibiotics. We are currently working to defend consumer protections, close corporate tax loopholes, and make higher education affordable for all.
ConnPIRG is now hiring a State Director to help tackle real problems, implement smart solutions and get real results. Run a state office, and oversee campaigns to stop the overuse of antibiotics on factory farms, defend vital protections for consumers on Wall Street, protect communities from toxic threats and dangerous products, and more.
