The Graduate Student Career Council, under the direction of the Assistant Director of Graduate Student Career Programs and Services, provides new insights and engages in career program development and delivery. The Council is composed of 10-12 members, ideally with representatives across departments and academic degree levels. We are still looking for a few more members to launch the first year of the Council this September!
Council Members will:
- develop knowledge about career services;
- invest in their own career development;
- promote programs and services in informal and structured ways within departments;
- provide insight to create and shape future career offerings for graduate students;
- engage with others about career options/career diversity;
- initiate and lead individual projects that receive approval from Assistant Director of Graduate Student Career Programs and Services.
