  • Democracy, Violence, and Women's Rights in Hondura

    UConn's El Instituto for Latino/a, Caribbean and Latin American Studies and Trinity College's Center for Human Rights present: Democracy, Violence, and Women's Rights in Honduras: A Conversation with Gilda Maria Rivera Sierra.

    Gilda is an activist, Executive Coordinator of Centro de Derechos de Mujeres (CDM), and Founding Member of multiple human rights organizations in Honduras. She is the 2017 Advocacy Fellow in Residence at Trinity University. The event will be on Monday, May 1st at 4:00 pm in room 240 of Ryan J. Building.
