    Open House, Open Mic!

    Saturday, April 29th

    9am - 2pm

CTV invites you to take a tour of our studio on Saturday, April 29th.

We'll explain the FREE equipment and training resources available to residents of Charter Spectrum's 16 town service area. There will be tours of the studio space, which is available to eligible residents who wish to produce unique content for broadcast.  We will also outline the field equipment available for check-out to residents.

Eligible residents are also be invited to give a short performance or showing, which can be broadcasted.

We invite all types of content:

    • speak your mind about a political or religious issue, or a particular cause that is near and dear to you
    • read your own poetry or perform a skit with friends
    • sing or dance or perform your music

We restrict commercial advertising, gambling, and explicit adult material, but we do NOT required to follow the same broadcast standards as commercially produced television.  More information is available in our rules.

We do not require an appointment to attend the open house, but if your time is limited then you may wish to call ahead.  If you have any questions about your performance idea, or you wish to record something that could require extra preparation (e.g. performing with electric instruments), we suggest that you call us at 860-456-8500 to determine whether additional accommodations are necessary.

CTV's studio is here for you!  We support the right to free speech and free expression, and we exist to ensure people will have an opportunity to make their voices heard. This is an entirely free event, so if you've ever wondered about visiting us, this is the perfect time to come.
