Celebration of the April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day
Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the founder of the Turkish Republic, made April 23rd a special day for children to emphasize that they are leaders of the future. We'd like to celebrate this special day with the diverse UConn student body!
Please join us as we are having concert and traditional dance performances by the children, as well as a special talk “Understanding Atatürk” by Kaya Boztepe (past President of the Federation of Turkish American Assoc.)
