  • Applying for a STEM Fellowship this Fall?

The Office of National Scholarships and Fellowships and The Graduate school invite first year graduate students and undergraduate juniors to attend a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Predoctoral Fellowship workshop on Thursday, April 13th, at 3pm in Class of 1947 (HBL). The focus of this workshop is on applying to and winning prestigious fellowships such as the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship program (http://www.nsfgrfp.org/), the National Defense Science and Engineering Fellowship (http://ndseg.asee.org/), Hertz Foundation Physical, Biological and Engineering Sciences Fellowship (http://www.hertzfoundation.org/). The workshops will help students understand the application components; will provide tips on how to best address NSF selection criteria of “intellectual merit” and “broader impacts.”
