IRB Exempt Application Workshop
On Thursday April 6, 2017 from 5:00pm-6:00pm, The Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR) will be holding a workshop for students and faculty who need assistance with Exempt Protocol submissions. This workshop will consist of a brief introduction of the criteria for exemption, and what researchers need to include in their application and submit to the IRB. Instruction will be provided by expert staff in the Research Compliance Services unit of the OVPR. Attendees are encouraged to discuss their individual projects to receive guidance and feedback about how to successfully process their exempt research study through the IRB. The workshop will be held in the Homer Babbidge Library Class of 1947 Room at 369 Fairfield Way, Storrs, CT.
