  • Free Statistical Consulting

    Statistical Consulting Services (SCS) is pleased to announce our free walk-in and online services! We provide immediate, in person or round-the-clock web-based statistical support for quick questions about grant proposals, journal articles, PhD. Dissertations, M.S. Theses, and undergraduate research projects. The walk-in hours and online service are active during the semester, beginning Tuesday, January 17, 2017 and ending on Friday, May 5, 2017*. Walk-in hours are held in AUST 340, and the online submission form is available at http://merlot.stat.uconn.edu/www/consulting/online.php.

    It is available to all UConn undergraduate and graduate students, postdocs, research fellows, and faculty members. We have expertise in statistical software, study design, statistical methodology, data analysis and visualization, and reporting of results.

    WALK-IN HOURS (Spring 2017):

    Monday: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM**, 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM

    Tuesday: 2:15 PM – 3:15 PM, 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM

    Wednesday: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM, 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM

    Thursday: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM, 5:00 PM –6:00 PM

    Friday: 1:30 PM –5:30 PM

     

    *Walk-in hours are not available during the spring-break week (March 13-March 17).

    ** Monday: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM** are available after February 13, 2017.

    ***SCS is jointly funded by Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR), Dean’s Offices of CLAS and CAHNR, School of Pharmacy, and Department of Statistics, UCONN
