  • 3/3 Housing Info Session, 3-4 pm, Buckley S.Lounge

Honors students, sophomore year and above, may choose from Honors Learning community options in Brock Hall (floors 4-6), Shippee Hall (floors 1-3) and Snow Hall. These communities all provide the opportunity to remain with other Honors students and live in a supportive environment with access to Honors peers, Honors student leaders, and resources. Please see: http://reslife.uconn.edu/housing-selection/ for details on the Housing selection timeline and process. You will receive an Honors pick time for Shippee, Brock, or Snow selection and a general housing pick time for the rest of on-campus housing.

Students selected for Honors to Opportunities House have received separate selection instructions.

For your honors housing pick time, you should plan to live with a roommate who is also in the Honors Program. If you are interested in living with a roommate who is not in the Honors Program, you can select during your non-honors pick time in general housing.

Alternatively, you can select in Honors housing and work with the Department of Residential Life during the room change processes beginning in May to move with a student who is currently not in the Honors Program or to have them move with you.

The Honors Program and the Department of Residential Life will hold an information session on Friday, March 3rd from 3-4pm in the South Lounge in Buckley Hall to share more information with you about the housing selection process and to answer any questions you may have.
