Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Fellowships - Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI), National Science Foundation (NSF), Office of Naval
Research (ONR)
Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) in Massachusetts offers a 10-week fellowship for graduate students who will research the dynamics of fluid flows. This program is funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the Office of Naval Research (ONR). Each year's session is devoted to a central topic and the upcoming topic is "Stochastic Processes in Atmospheric and Oceanic Dynamics". Fellows will be supervised by a staff member and will give a lecture and write a written report. The program promotes interdisciplinary research with collaborative seminars. The fellowships takes place from June to August in the summer. It is located in Woods Hole, Massachusetts.
