The Center for Research on Ethnicity, Culture, and Health (CRECH) offers several 2-year fellowships to postdoctoral scholars interested in academic public health. The Cornely Program seeks to increase the number of scholars from underrepresented groups in academic public health. This program is designed to facilitate acquisition or enhancement of research skills directed to addressing racial and ethnic health disparities. The Cornely Fellow spends the majority of time preparing manuscripts for publication and works closely with a University of Michigan School of Public Health faculty member working in a similar research area.
