Leadership in Diversity, a student organization based in the Neag School of Education is holding a drive from January 27th to March 21st to collect books on education related topics, and children’s and young adult literature. With these book donations, we will be able to raise funds by giving them out as door prizes at our annual conference on March 25th. These funds help us to provide free professional development opportunities to students and host our annual multicultural education conference. We ask that if you have any gently used books that you no longer need on any education related topic such as professional development, practice, theory, etc., or literature for k-12 students, you consider donating them. Drop-offs can be made in Gentry 303, the Teacher Education suite. There will be a designated box for collection.
