  • Spring 2017 Graduate School Doctoral Travel Award

    The Graduate School is pleased to again provide travel funding to support a limited number of doctoral students presenting his/her research at national or international meetings/conferences.   The first application cycle was designated for Fall 2016 travel and the second one reserved for Spring 2017 is now available.  

    As of January 1, 2017, students are eligible to apply one time for a maximum amount of $750.00 in travel reimbursement funds.  Any funds not used for that travel occurrence will not be carried forward for future use.  No reimbursement is available once a student is awarded their degree.

    Applicants are encouraged to apply as early as possible as funding may run out.

    For travel between January 1, 2017 and June 30, 2017. Please submit the Spring 2017 Application for the Doctoral Student Travel Award found at:

    Once the application is completed and signed by the student, student’s advisor and department head or his/her designee, the application should be returned to The Graduate School by e-mail (martha.marroni@uconn.edu) or in person at The Whetten Graduate Center, second floor, no later than six (6) weeks before the travel will occur.  The application will then be reviewed and a decision will be emailed to the student’s department/program graduate coordinator.
