WHUS, UConn's on-campus, student-run radio station, is looking for a Spring intern.
The internship at WHUS would be about a 3-6 hour commitment per week (unpaid).
Interns would be expected to write either one in-depth article (such as an investigative reporting piece, a longer article on a band’s history and work, or a review of an on-campus event & interview with the people behind it); or, 2 shorter articles (like an album review or other “feature” piece).
The intern may also have the opportunity to edit 1-2 articles (usually 2/3 of a page to 2 pages) every other week or so, under the supervision of the Executive Editor.
Application materials: a resume, 1-3 page writing sample, and brief cover letter, sent to editor@whus.org
