  • Intercultural Comedian: Jesse Appell

Get ready to laugh with Jesse Appell in an evening of multi-cultural comedy!  Stand-up comic and Fulbright scholar, Jesse Appell, will be bringing his comedy show to UConn’s Laurel Hall (Room 102) on November 16 at 7PM for a performance that is free and open to all members of the UConn community. In a night of laughs you will not want to miss,  Jesse Appell will present his unique blend of American stand-up and Chinese “cross talk” comedy in a performance that will explore how humor distinguishes and also unites different cultures. This event is co-sponsored by the Center for Judaic Studies and Contemporary Jewish Life, the Asian and American Studies Institute, the Asian American Cultural Center, and the Maurice Greenberg Center for Judaic Studies at the University of Hartford.
