  • Please Read Before Submitting to Grad School News

    If you plan on submitting an announcement to "Grad School News!" you will do so by going through Soapbox.  This is a program that requires a 48 hour wait period before the announcement can be published. During that period the announcement is reviewed by Graduate School staff, reformatted for easier reading and consitency with the other announcements and additionally so that the announcement is placed under the proper category. Currently Soapbox does not allow/is not capable for submitters to choose the category in which their announcement should go under. Due to this, we ask that you please view this page and go through the steps on how to display which category you would like your announcement to be placed under.  By reading the instructions this will help ensure that your announcement is published on the date you would like and to reduce complications on The Graduate School's side.  We hope that this shift from ListServ to Soapbox has been a positive one, and that we can continue to make improvements on how graduate students here at UConn communicate with one another.
