Ever wonder who ran the liquor trade in Eastern Europe? You got it, it was the Jewish people! New discoveries show an underground Jewish liquor trade that was reliant on a Jewish-Christian co-existence. Later today, Professor Glenn Dynner from Sarah Lawrence College will present his research on Jews, Liquor and Life in Eastern Europe on October 20 at 12:30PM in Babbidge Library, Class '47 Room. A Kosher lunch will be provided.
