As Halloween approaches, the topic of costumes becomes increasingly relevant and with it, the controversy surrounding cultural costumes. Join the Multicultural Honors Collective for the first event of our two part October series, My Culture is Not a Costume which will be followed by a costume party on October 25th. We will be discussing culture and the fine line between celebration and appropriation. Bring a friend and come to learn or share stories or educate others as we discuss this topic!
