  • Tarang Diwali Celebrations 2016

    TARANG-UCONN cordially invites UCONN Community and their families, to this year’s Diwali celebrations.Diwali, the festival of lights (deep = light and avali = a row i.e., a row of lights) which is one of the most popular festivals in India and it literally illuminates the country with its brilliance, and dazzles everyone with its joy. We welcome you to join us for a fantastic night of cultural performances. 

    When: Sunday, 6th November from 5:30 PM

    Where: UCONN Hillel House 

    This event is sponsored by the Graduate Student Senate (GSS) and the first 100 graduate students (including the regional campuses) would be eligible for FREE ticketsOnly one free ticket per person with their UCONN GRADUATE Student ID card. Limited availability – tickets sold on a first-come first-serve basis. The rest of the tickets will be available for sale.

    UCONN STUDENT: $15

    NON-STUDENT: $20

    Tickets purchased directly at the event front desk will cost extra $5. 

    Ticket sales will be on the following days:

    Day 1: 11th October (Tuesday) from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM at Student Union, Union Street - Table 1 (near SU 108 Commuter Lounge)

    Day 2: 14th October (Friday) from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM at Student Union, Union Street - Table 4 (near SU 108 Commuter Lounge)
