AACC Vigil of Remembrance, Welcome Back Dinner and Organizational Fair is an event that is held at the beginning of each fall semester to welcome new and returning students to the African American Cultural Center and to the University of Connecticut. A key part of this event is the vigil that will honor the many lost in tragic events that have occurred throughout the nation. In addition to having countless student speakers, student performances and guest speakers, this event also invites student organizations of the AACC to set-up informational tables. At these tables, each organization provides background and membership information to students who are interested.
