The goal of DAAD is to primary goal is to facilitate transatlantic mobility to Germany. DAAD offers a wide range of funding opportunities for individuals and institutions in higher education. Funding is awarded on a competitive basis; consideration given to the academic merit of the individual, the feasibility and quality of the proposal, and the impact of the applicant and application as a whole.
