For undergraduate courses, including independent study and thesis courses, if the course is not designated as Grading: Honors credit, it will not automatically earn Honors credit. To double check whether you are enrolled in an Honors course\section, view your weekly schedule detail, or search for a particular course and view the course detail or in the Dynamic Course Search, select Honors Classes Only, where Honors classes will be designated with Grading: Honors credit.
To earn Honors credit in a non-Honors course or section, including independent study and thesis courses, student must submit an Honors Conversion request, in time for it to be approved by the end of the third week of classes.
