Internships

  • Paid Summer Internship with TurnUp

I am reaching out because we are hiring students at University of Connecticut for a paid summer voter registration internship opportunity with a $3,000 stipend.

Interns will perform 40 hours per week of work over the course of 10 weeks and will conduct high-traffic canvassing to register young people to vote. The application link is here at bit.ly/fellowshipturnup and the deadline for applications is rolling.

This opportunity is fully remote but students must be located in AZ, MI, MT, NV, OH, PA, or WI. Each intern will be responsible for locating and engaging with potential voters in high-traffic areas (malls, parks, transit stations, etc.), at local events (fairs, block parties, etc.), and registering them to vote. As part of the internship experience, interns will receive comprehensive education from experienced organizers on voter registration and engagement. TurnUp will also provide the physical materials and supervision necessary to conduct frequent and successful voter registration activities. All voter registration activities are non-partisan.

Please see the internship application here. Here is a linked informational flyer to be shared with students.
