    Dates: May 27-June 27, 2024

    Overview of Internship Goals and Description:

    Students will be working on compiling a literature review in preparation for a new course to be offered in Spring 2025. The new course is titled “LQBTQ+ Politics in the United States.” Students will be assigned books and articles and asked to read and summarize the salient points of the readings. Students will learn how to assemble a literature review ad how to provide accurate notetaking.

    Intern Roles & Responsibilities:

    · The intern will be responsible for reading the material and summarizing the information in a concise and coherent manner.

    Qualifications:

    · Students should have basic knowledge of a literature review and the ability to understand journal articles from social science journals.

    · Must be a UConn Stamford undergraduate student—rising sophomore, junior or senior.
