  • New Climate Science Minor

    • Overview
      • Anthropogenic climate change is one of the most important issues of the
        21st century. Solving this problem will remain a major challenge for the
        foreseeable future. The Climate Science Minor will educate students on the
        science behind and societal drivers and impacts of climate change.
        Successful completion the Climate Science Minor will provide students with
        a competitive employment advantage in professions involving climate
        related work and help prepare students for graduate study in the growing
        number of fields involving climate study. This knowledge will also provide
        the next generation with a powerful voice in the ongoing fight against
        climate change.

      • • Understand drivers of past, present, and future climate
        • Learn about tools for reconstructing, observing, and forecasting climate
        • Explore societal drivers and impacts related to climate change
        • Determine measures to mitigate the effects of climate change
