Center for Career Development

  • Paid On-campus Internship at the Career Center

The Center for Career Development is seeking undergraduate students to apply for our various PAID, on-campus, internship opportunities during the 2024/2025 academic school year.

Undergraduate students from all majors, and with all career interests, are encouraged to apply. Prior career development experience is not required.

Candidates must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a strong dedication to teamwork, a commitment to creating an equitable and inclusive environment, and excitement to grow their personal and professional development skills in relation to their future career interests.

We are currently hiring for various project areas within the following internship programs:

    • Outreach and Engagement (exclusive for CLAS and CAHNR students)
    • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
    • Program Development & Marketing
    • Operations and Technology

Interns must commit to two full semesters of employment (Fall 2024 and Spring 2025) and cannot be planning to graduate early, applying for study abroad, or planning to hold a campus leadership position that would prevent them from fully committing to the Career Center for the full term as outlined above. Those interested must also be available to participate in mandatory training which will take place the week in August prior to the start of the semester.

Interested undergraduate students can visit the Work at the Center section of our website OR search for the internship titles outlined above in Handshake to learn more about these roles and apply. Applicants should upload their résumé and the completed Application Form (attached within the Handshake Job Description). Applications that do not contain these two documents will not be accepted.

The Center for Career Development is committed to creating an inclusive environment that encourages innovation and supports the communities and individuals it serves. We strongly encourage the participation of individuals from all social identities such as race, color, ethnicity, religion/spirituality, age, national origin, ancestry, socioeconomic background, sexual orientation, physical and mental abilities, and gender identity or expression, as well as various life experiences and perspectives, military service, and past and current employment.
