  • 4/28 (DUE) Honors Thesis for May 2023 Graduates

As we are approaching spring break, we wanted to remind you that as part of your Honors graduation requirements your Honors thesis is due on the last day of classes, April 28th.  Please be sure you have worked out a timeline with both advisors for early drafts and reviews to meet this deadline.

If you cannot meet the April 28th deadline, you must communicate with both of your advisors to ask if they would agree to a two week extension.  If they agree, your approved thesis would then be due by May 12th and you would not need to contact the Honors office about your agreed upon two week extension, https://honors.uconn.edu/thesis-extensions/.

If you and your advisors have agreed to a later date (past May 12th), please email Honors to let us know the date you have chosen and to learn about final deadlines for May degree conferral or moving to an August degree conferral.

Extensions will not prevent students from attending the Honors Medals Ceremony on April 29th or Commencement.
