  • Join Husky Ambassadors, Husky VIP, Husky Insiders

The Office of Admissions is currently working to recruit for our Husky Ambassador, Husky VIP (Visitor Information Program) and Husky Insider positions! Both volunteer and paid positions are available:

Husky Ambassadors are a student group which allows prospective students to shadow current UConn students, learning about our academics, organizations, daily life, and resources that UConn has to offer. They also help with our large open houses each semester and greeting students and families on Saturdays for our campus tours.

Husky VIP is our tour guide program. This is a paid position and students work an average of ten hours a week greeting students and families at the Lodewick Visitors Center and Tasker Hall and welcome them to the UConn community. They give campus tours Monday – Saturday to close to 40,000 visitors each year.

Husky Insiders is a group of current UConn students dedicated to helping underrepresented prospective students find their home at UConn. They provide concierge-level service to help students with the application and enrollment process, give reminders about events and deadlines, travel to local high schools to recruit, host virtual student chats and events dedicated to recruiting a diverse student population and give tours to schools and groups visiting our campus. This is also a paid position.
