  • Make time at AERA to attend free events

Hey Neag doctoral students, have you been working on your AERA schedule? Make some time in it to attend one of these free events for students.

The Forum for International Networking in Education (FINE) is organizing three FREE events at AERA 2015 in Chicago for students from U21 Universities to encourage exchange of ideas and future collaboration. UConn is a U21 university; Universitas 21 is an international network of research-intensive universities dedicated to fostering collaboration and growth among students and staff.

FINE starts with the Forum, which is an opportunity to network with students and faculty from around the world. During this seminar, you will have the opportunity to identify others with your research interests and share the challenges and victories of being a graduate student.

The next part gets even better. After the Forum on Wednesday, the group will gather for dinner at Carnivale, a great Chicago restaurant. The food and conversation of this evening generally make this an AERA favorite.

In addition, FINE sponsors two breakfast meetings to continue to network with students and deans from U21 universities.

All of these events are free to students!

The dates, times, and locations of all events are as follows:
