Other Program Opportunities

  • 3/2 CCEI Summer Fellowship Info Session

Do you want to spend your summer working on a business you created? How about receiving a $15,000 award for your business, $5,000 of which you can elect to take as a stipend for the summer?

The Connecticut Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CCEI) is holding an Infomation Session with CCEI Director, Jennifer Mathieu, on March 2 from 5-6pm to go over the accelerator and answer questions from attendees.

CCEI Summer Fellowship is UConn’s startup accelerator program and is an immersive entrepreneurial experience open to anyone affiliated with UConn (students, faculty, staff and alumni of all colleges).

The program takes place over 8 weeks June - August. Startup teams spend 3 days a week over 8 weeks taking a deep dive into their business with the support of mentors, industry mentors, and experienced entrepreneurs. These sessions help educate program participants on how to define their business, build their brand, and launch their venture, all while building a community with the other entrepreneurs participating in the program.

Summer Fellowship is CCEI’s flagship program and has prepared startups to launch their company, generate revenue, raise funding (grants, investments, etc.), and be accepted into next step opportunities such as incubators and accelerator programs.

Each team will receive $15,000 for their venture. The application deadline is March 11, 2022

If your application is reviewed and you are selected as a finalist, you will be asked to present a short pitch on what your project or company idea is in front of a panel of judges who will be selecting which teams participate. This virtual team pitch is scheduled for March 23rd, 2022.

RSVP for the Information Session, and learn more about CCEI Summer Fellowship HERE.
