  • U21 Sustainable Micro-Internships

UConn is a member of Universitas 21, a consortium of 27 world-class universities from around the globe that aims to empower students and staff to share excellence, collaborate across borders and nurture international knowledge exchange. The U21 community values cultural differences, connects perspectives from around the world, and harnesses the collective expertise of exceptional global institutions to benefit all members. This dynamic approach has helped nurture a global network of over 1 million students and 200,000 staff, inspiring institutional innovation for over 20 years.

In partnership with U21, we are offering a unique, 2-week virtual international internship opportunity for students in April 2022.

U21 Sustainable Micro-internships allows students to work with peers from across the globe, sharing knowledge and expertise while immersing themselves in a commercial organization. Not only will students form quick partnerships with sustainability-minded students around the world, but they’ll also challenge their abilities, while developing key skills enabling them to thrive in the modern workplace. Throughout the program participants will engage with and learn from students across the globe spanning 18 countries and 19 time zones. Learn More.

This exclusive, free opportunity is only available to students at U21 member universities and is open to UConn students of all disciplines at both graduate and undergraduate levels. There are a limited number of spaces per member university, and applications will need to be submitted to the UConn selection committee by March 3, 2022. All candidates will be notified of their status by March 7, 2022.
