    Do you know a student who is  passionate about fostering conversations about social issues affecting our UConn Community and beyond? Are they interested in event planning and management? If so, apply to be Community Outreach’s Dialogue and Democracy Student Leader! They can apply, here!About the Program: Dialogues Initiatives provides exposure to the experiences and perspectives of people on both sides of an issue through careful education and interactive deliberation. Each of our dialogues will attempt to educate on topical issues that affect our society. In the past we have tackled issues diverse as consent laws, child poverty, transgender identities, sexual assault on campus, homelessness, and psychological health. Dialogues Project Manager’s role is to coordinate and support on-going issues dialogue events related to CO activities locally, regionally, and nationally. The Dialogues Project Manager will design activities that are grounded in the self-identified needs and interests of the UConn student body and are enriching for the involved UConn students.
