Graduating Seniors

  • Senior Checklist

    Senior checklist will be updated throughout the semseter with important tasks for graduating senior.

    1. Apply for Graduation: Students should apply to graduate by the fourth week of their final semester for each degree they are completing (or the spring semester for summer graduates).
    1. Log in to your Student Administration System account.
    2. On the homepage, click the Graduation tile.
    3. Click Apply to Graduation in the left menu.
    4. Click Apply to Graduation under the program in which you are completing your degree.
    5. Select the term in which you plan to graduate from the Expected Graduation Term drop-down list.
    6. Review instructions and click continue.
    7. Verify the information on the next screen and click Submit Application.
    8. Confirmation screen below should appear
      1. Click Verify Diploma Name and Address to review and update your information.
      1. Once you submit your application for graduation, you will not receive a email confirmation

     

    1. NEXT: Submit final plan of study (after you applied for graduation).
      1. Log in to your Student Administration System account.
      2. Click Graduation tile.
      3. Click Academic Requirements in the left menu. After a few moments, My academic requirements report will display.
      4. Click Submit Final Plan of Study
      5. Click OK to confirm request.
      6. You will be prompted with a comment box for each of your majors and minors. The title of the major/minor is listed in the header of the comment box. Comments and attachments should be provided for anything that needs explanation, additional approval and otherwise does not show satisfied on your My Academic Requirements Report.
      7. Click OK to submit your comment with your Final Plan of Study. Once submitted, you will receive an email confirmation and you plan of study will be routed directly to your advisor. You can monitor your Final Plan of Study status through View My Plan of Study Approvals.
