  • Careers in Benefit Corporations Event

On Thursday, November 11th, UConn’s Careers for the Common Good program will be hosting a virtual Careers in Benefit Corporations event.

This event will create a space for students who are interested in pursuing socially responsible careers, but worry about the sustainability of working for non-profits, service organizations, etc. Students will be introduced what Benefit Corporations are, how they operate, and why they may be a viable career choice. A representative from Drew's Honeybees, a Connecticut-based BCorp, will be present to speak with students about the work they do and their dedication to the common good.

This will be a virtual event hosted via Zoom Webinar from 5:00 - 6:30 PM. We would greatly appreciate it if you could share this opportunity with the students you work with, and any other relevant contacts!
