    The Careers for the Common Good team, within the Center of Career Development, is hosting a virtual Careers in Advocacy event. This event allows students to connect with professionals in the advocacy field, hear about current advocacy efforts, and how to get involved (ranging from volunteer to career).

    Panelists attending represent a number of different areas of advocacy and organizations, including:

    • Katal Center for Equity, Health, and Justice (Social Justice-Based Advocacy)
    • Connecticut Coalition to End Homelessness (Socioeconomic Justice)
    • Pact, Freedom House (Int’l Development, Democracy, and Human Rights Advocacy)
    • Connecticut Voices For Children (Children & Families, Public Policy Advocacy)
