The Student Leadership Board is a group of ambassadors from across the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS), committed to enhancing the value of a liberal arts and sciences education at UConn through outreach and academic/social experiences.
As an ambassador, students are expected to:
- Execute and participate in College outreach events that promote the mission of CLAS
- Promote the CLAS community and student resources
- Develop and carry out projects and initiatives that promote the CLAS student community, student and alumni relationships, and other interest areas as determined by students and CLAS leadership
Ambassadors will develop valuable professional skills in leadership, project/event management,
marketing/communications, community building, and public speaking.
Eligible candidates must be undergraduate students in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences who have spent at least one semester at UConn. Students from all UConn campuses are eligible and encouraged to apply. Nominations are also accepted.
