  • Paid Internship at the UConn Career Center

Are you looking for a valuable internship opportunity that will help build your professional development skills, expand your résumé, and open doors to your future career path?

The Center for Career Development is seeking undergraduate students from the Storrs campus to apply for our various paid internship opportunities. Candidates must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a strong dedication to teamwork, a commitment to creating an equitable and inclusive environment, and excitement to grow their personal and professional development skills in relation to their future career interests.

We are currently hiring for various project areas within the following internship programs:

    • Outreach and Engagement
    • Career Consulting & Services
    • Program Development & Marketing

Interns must commit to two full semesters of employment and cannot be participating in a simultaneous internship, applying for study abroad, or plan to hold a campus leadership position that would prevent them from fully committing to the mandatory training during the last two weeks of August or the required duties of a UConn Career Center intern.

To learn more about our paid internship opportunities and review qualifications, please visit our main recruiting system, Handshake, or the "Work at the Center" section of our website. Applicants must complete and submit all required application materials; incomplete applications will not be accepted. We strongly encourage interested applicants to have their résumé critiqued at the Career Center prior to applying.
