Mercatus Student Fellowship Applications Closing Soon
Applications for the Mercatus Center at George Mason University's 2021-2022 student programs are closing soon! The last day to apply for the Mercatus Adam Smith Fellowship, Mercatus Frédéric Bastiat Fellowship, and Mercatus Oskar Morgenstern Fellowship is March 15, 2021, and the last day to apply for the Mercatus Don Lavoie Fellowship is April 15, 2021.
The Adam Smith, Frédéric Bastiat, and Oskar Morgenstern Fellowships are designed for graduate students in any discipline at universities around the world. The Don Lavoie Fellowship is our new, completely online fellowship for advanced undergraduate students, recent college graduates considering graduate school, and early-career graduate students.
All of the fellows explore and discuss the foundations of political economy and public policy and pursue research on pressing issues. Successful fellows have gone on to obtain teaching, research, and leadership positions in academia as well as public policy positions in federal and state governments and at prominent research institutions.
