  • Graduate Students of Color February Events

The Graduate Students of Color Association (GSCA) would like to invite you all to participate in the following events we have planned for the month of February. Please RSVP using the links below. We hope to see you there!

    • GSCA Virtual Spring Dance
      • Led by Truth Hunter, who studied West African dance and teaches African dance healing workshops. This highly participatory dance workshop sponsored by GSCA is for all people of color (POC) only! You do not need any dance experience, just a willingness to have fun in a community atmosphere.
      • Sunday, Feb 14th @ 3 PM: https://forms.gle/pP8kq12nG7pVA2b76
    •  GSCA Virtual Faculty Discussion with Dr. Noel A. Cazenave
      • Dr. Cazenave will discuss his latest book, Killing African Americans: Police and Vigilante Violence as a Racial Control Mechanism
      • Thursday, Feb 18th @ 5 PM: https://forms.gle/xAtAMMcs9JwuQkRr9
    •  GSCA Spring Work Group
      • Staying productive can be challenging, especially during this pandemic. Join other graduate students of color in virtual accountability workgroups over the spring semester to stay motivated to work! We will have 3-hour windows and members can sign up for 1-3 blocks within that window. Blocks are 45 minutes each, so you can stay the entire time, just 45 minutes or however long you would like!
      • Re-curring throughout the semester: https://forms.gle/F777urmfCiGof11K8
