Seeking Volunteers for Borderline Personality Disorder Clinical Research Study

Dr. Jayesh Kamath from UConn Health’s Department of Psychiatry is conducting a clinical research study for an investigational drug for people who have borderline personality disorder.

The purpose of this trial is to study and evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the investigational drug as a possible treatment for borderline personality disorder.

Eligible participants will be assigned to receive either the investigational drug or placebo daily for 12 weeks and asked to attend up to 10 study visits. Participants will not be told which study drug they receive. At the end of the treatment period, participants will have the option of enrolling into an open-label extension study.

Study participation will last up to 18 weeks and is available for English-speaking participants ages 18 to 65 who have a diagnosis of borderline personality disorder.
