  • 10/5-9 Major/Career Exploration Week

Do you know any students interested in exploring their major and career options?

The Major Experience, along with other campus partners, is hosting Major Exploration Week from October 5-9! This is a week-long series of events, workshops, and presentations intended to give students the opportunity to explore majors in a holistic and interactive manner. It is an opportunity to discover majors, learn about different career paths, connect with UConn staff, faculty, students, and alumni, and get a better sense of where their interests could take them.

    Major Exploration Week Events Include:

    • Alumni Panel: From ACES to Careers (co-hosted by The Major Experience and The Center for Career Readiness and Life Skills)
    • Major Expos:
      • Arts, Cultures, Humanities, and Education (Teacher Education and Sport Management)
      • Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, and Health Sciences
      • Business, Social Sciences, and Behavioral Sciences
    • Neag Student Panel: Could Teaching Be Your Major?
    • TME Student Mentor Panel and Exhibition
    • Business Application, Pathways, and Careers Workshop

All major expos will include FREE dairy bar ice cream and the chance to win a $20 Amazon gift card door prize!
