  • 9/25 POLS Major Presenting at Holster Scholar Symposium

    The 2026 Holster Scholars present their summer research, creative, and design projects.

    Please join us for the 2026 Holster Scholars Program Fall Symposium.

    The Holster Scholars Program is a selective enrichment opportunity for curious first-year Honors Students that supports in-depth, individualized learning experiences in the summer following a student’s first year.

    The seven 2026 Holster Scholars will be sharing their research projects at this event. The symposium, which kicks off at 2:30PM, will be broken up into two sessions:

    • 2:30-3:45 - Biology & Behavior (POLS major Nadia Ratib-Eixarch presents: America(n) First: American-ness, Immigration Policy, and the Latino Gender Gap)
    • 3:45-5:00 - Past & Present
