The 2026 Holster Scholars present their summer research, creative, and design projects.
Please join us for the 2026 Holster Scholars Program Fall Symposium.
The Holster Scholars Program is a selective enrichment opportunity for curious first-year Honors Students that supports in-depth, individualized learning experiences in the summer following a student’s first year.
The seven 2026 Holster Scholars will be sharing their research projects at this event. The symposium, which kicks off at 2:30PM, will be broken up into two sessions:
- 2:30-3:45 - Biology & Behavior (POLS major Nadia Ratib-Eixarch presents: America(n) First: American-ness, Immigration Policy, and the Latino Gender Gap)
- 3:45-5:00 - Past & Present
A detailed program, including Scholars’ names, project titles, faculty mentors, and presentation times, is available at s.uconn.edu/holstersymposium.
