    Welcome to the new school year! Here are some important things to keep in mind.

    1. Being able to ask for help is a strength. Ask for help when you need it!
    2. Read the PWB (PoliSci Weekly Brief), which comes out every Friday at 2:00 pm! This is my primary form of communication with you. All important information will be in the PWB. (PWBs are archived once they come out.)
    3. Bookmark the Advising and Resources page and the Forms and Documents page. The former links you to almost anything you need, including POLS 2998 and 2100W info, relateds, and the PWB archives. The latter has the major plans of study.
    4. Use Nexus to make appointments with me. Also use Nexus to cancel appointments you can’t make. Don’t just no show!

        Friday, Sept. 4 - Appointments available in Nexus.

        Monday, Sept. 7 - Labor Day, UConn closed.

        Tuesday, Sept. 8; Wednesday, Sept. 9; Friday, Sept. 11 - Appointments available in Nexus.

        Monday, Sept. 14 - Regular availability of appointments in Nexus begins.

    5. Jess N., the PAA (Peer Academic Assistant), is here for walk-ins. Use her services! Here are her fall hours:
