UConn@COP is an experiential learning program that sends a cohort of undergraduate and graduate students to the United Nations’ Conference of the Parties (COP) annual global Climate Change Conference. The event brings together diplomats, business executives, heads of government, university leaders, environmental activists, NGO's and other delegates to discuss progress on climate change. The conference provides students with a unique perspective on the global effort to combat climate change and promote climate justice.

This year, negotiations will take place in Antalya, Turkey and our cohort will attend from November 14-21, 2026. UConn and donors cover nearly all costs of the program for students.

UConn@COP is one of UConn’s flagship experiential learning programs and a life changing event for all our student fellow alumni. Please encourage your students to apply. Details and application links can be found here. Applications are due by 11:59pm on April 26, 2026.
