  • Congrats! POLS Majors Selected University Scholars

Congratulations to Alec Dacuma, Olivia Joyce, and Carter Morton, who were chosen to be University Scholars!

Each year at UConn, up to 30 juniors are selected for the University Scholar Program through an application process sponsored by the Honors & Enrichment Program (but you don't have to be in Honors to apply). The program allows students to design and pursue an in-depth research or creative project and to craft a learning plan that supports their interests and academic goals during their final three semesters. It is the highest academic honor bestowed upon undergraduates by the University of Connecticut.

Current UConn sophomores are eligible to apply next fall. Visit the University Scholar Timeline to learn more about upcoming information sessions for prospective applicants (April 15 & 16).
