As you know, First Year Experience runs the majority of our classes in the fall. But, we also have several UNIV 1800 and UNIV 1820 Special Topic Seminars available for students in the spring semester! Thanks in advance for chatting these up with your advisees.
UNIV 1800
This spring, we have nine sections of UNIV 1800 listed and would love to get them filled with students who missed FYE in the fall or who just transferred this semester! Please talk up UNIV 1800 to students who missed out in the fall and might be interested.
UNIV 1820
We have 17 offerings on a variety of topics and we would really appreciate if you would encourage your advisees to look at the optoins and register if they're interested. The 1820 courses are open to all first year and sophomore students. They offer students a small class experience in which they can explore the topic of choice and continue to build community through their transition to college.
