  • Get to Know Your Profs, Find Out How You're Doing!

    Midterms are:

    1) a way to start a conversation with your professor!

It's not uncommon for me to hear from former students who didn't make connections while they were here but who now need a letter of recommendation. You don't know what the future holds! Establish a relationship with a professor from whom you can ask for help. If you don't know how to break the ice, do a midterm check-in!

    2) a good time to check on how you're doing!

Avoid end-of-semester surprises! Find out how you're doing and what you can do to improve. Even if you find out you're doing well, that's just good news to have!

Remember - ask for help when you need it!
