UConn ARMS is hosting a film screening jointly with the Yale School of Public Health. The Tennessee 11 is a film that documents the efforts of 11 Tennesseans, who span the political and ideological spectrums, to come together and find common ground on firearm policy. The conversation happens over three days and, while at time difficult and tense, is always civil. In the end, the group comes up with a set of policies that they agree upon and get one into consideration by the state legislature.
The event begins at 3:00 on 9/25 in the Legislative Office Building (Connecticut Legislative Office Building 300 Capital Avenue Hartford, CT 06106). All are welcome but we do need people to RSVP.
