UNIV 3294. Entrepreneurial Approaches to Community-Centered Innovation.

This course is a practical hands-on introduction to the philosophy and techniques of
moving visual storytelling. It covers operation of the camera, basic lighting and sound,
camera movement and support. Issues of composition, content, aesthetics, continuity
and creativity will be explored with exercises, labs and real-life projects. Video editing
will cover both technical and philosophical issues of editing. The students will learn
how to use smart phones to create and editing short 1-2 min films and use them for
promotions.
